I promised myself I wouldn´t say anything!

(been eating a lot of these beauties but
never seen one with a heart on it!)
Until I reached my goal,
but I am just so excited I want to share!

I have lost 10 pounds!

"Believe ye that I am able to do this," Jesus asked the two blind men.
They answered quickly,

"Yea, Lord!" (Matthew 9:27-29)

It seems that this is something that the Lord wants me to learn right now. I didn´t think too much about losing weight. Of course every one wants too but I didn´t think I could. Really didn´t even make any new years resolutions. Just one day I prayed asking the Lord to help me get back into shape and get back to my "pre- baby me".

The Lord has provided me with many encouragers along the way. Pilar started with her new years resolutions, then Nina with her "new look" and I noticed that Tori too, is trying to lose wieght. Also, my dear husband has been an inspiration and a great motivator, and my Mom who always has great ideas. The Lord also brought me to Melissa´s blog. She had a great plan and I wanted to try it. That´s when I asked the Lord to help me reach a goal by the end of the year. I am seeing it happen! No turning back now!

I believe He can do it through me!

What lies in your near future that you want to ask the Lord to accomplish? Do you believe that He can do it?
It´s really that simple!

We have a prayer and we need to just believe that God can do it!

We are praying for a new meeting place for our church. It´s a huge step! It´s a scary step because it will cost so much. We are in the prayer stage, but God convicted my heart with this verse. It was as if He was wispering "Do you believe I can do this?" Of course that is a pat answer. He is God. He can do what ever he wants. But do I really believe?

"Lord, increase my faith."

Way to go!! You're right...no turning back now!!

I was going to email you my weigh in, but since I'm here already, I lost another kilo last week! The exercising has helped jump-start me again. A few pounds a week is awesome...I have NO complaints.

And best of all...I feel so much better than I did before.

    Don't you!?

  5. Way to go girl! Keep it up!
I too have been trying, but my walking partner has bummed out on me. I don't like to go by myself, as it is still dark until about 8am. My husband says that he is going to start getting up with me. Pray that I'll have a better month.

  8. Yeah Dani Joy! Congratulations! This was God's desire for you. He put that desire in your heart and see what God can do? Amazing what can happen when we let Him take control.

  10. Hi!
I found you via Melissa's health and fitness blog and wanted to stop by and congratulate you on losing 10 lbs! That is a great accomplishment. I am hoping to be more dedicated in losing weight this year too and need the Lord's help to do this. Mainly with being consistent in exercising.

  11. Wanted to say congrats and keep up the good work. And also, thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I LOVE hearing from other moms of boys. My oldest are 13 months apart. Then there's a 4 year gap. The baby is the true definition of the youngest as he's spoiled as can be.
