"But let your communication be , Yea, yea; Nay nay for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil." Matthew 5:37

These were the words that jumped out to me today. They are sinking in. It´s a very well known verse but I didn´t remember the last part of it. That is so strong! The word´s of our Lord Jesus speaking straight to me.

  1. I really like that verse too. I wonder sometimes how we should obey it.

Anyhoo, have a great Lord's Day tomorrow in Spain!

  2. Daniel and I discussed this verse recently. We have been working on jesting less, and saying what we mean! Not easy, if you're used to using sarcasm to make a point.

  3. That is very good insite into this passage. Also, I want to be sure not to base what I say on feelings, or attitudes. To be able to have my thoughts based on the Bible and what God would have me to say. Easier written than done.

  4. That is a very thought provoking verse.

In answer to your questions...my husband and I started full-time deputation this past March. Currently we are just under sixty percent of our support. It's our goal to be on the field by the end of the year.

  5. Thank you for coming by my blog. How in the world did you find me? I see you linked me in your side bear. How sweet! I'm so excited to 'meet' you. I'm a Baptist Christian also! I saw your KJV directory and wondered how other KJVers can get added. Please email me. I'm excited to get to know you.
