Spring Into Shape 10 Week Challenge

Have you made a New Year´s resolution to get the weight off once and for all or to get into better shape?

I did last year. Actually, it was just a prayer, thinking that I really couldn´t do it. Thinking that I would be the way I was for ever, but it was possible through the Lord´s strength, discipline, and a great support team! I am so thankful to tell you, that I reached that goal of 35 pounds lost in 11 months!

Part of that was due to our Christmas Crunch Challenge, and many have asked me to do another challenge. I am so excited about this next challenge because I just can´t wait to start counting points for my exercise again. ;) Even though there will be only one who will win the $10 prize, we all become winners by losing and by exercising!

So what are you waiting for?

Let´s Spring into Shape!

To join, just send me an e mail address you would like to use for the private blog we post on. I will then send out details this weekend as to how to enter the blog and to start posting.

Start date is January 20th for points!

Looking forward to Springing into Shape with ya´ll,

  1. Hi Dani, Congrats on the weight loss! I've strted a fitness program this year too. My goal is to lose 20 lbs in 6 months. I'm posting my progress (and my husband's!)every tuesday...Tuesday Trimming, Toning & Telling...the thought being...I'm more accountable if I post it!

  2. Hi Dani! I know, I totally flaked on your last one!!! Well, the weather is going to get nicer, so I have no excuse not to be walking around the neighborhood, right??

  3. Here we go again!

I was thinking last night about this time last year, I was so sick of being the size I was. I would wake up in the mornings with the first thought being, "I need to exercise today, and eat better..I can do this!" But by lunchtime, with the chaos of family and home, I would grab whatever I could to eat...always something very unhealthy. (quickly prepared food normally is!)

But finally, a year ago...with much prayer, a fantastic weight loss buddy (you!) and lots of hard work, I was able to loos 30 pounds in 10 months!

    Amen..and Amen!

Now...to keep it off by making wise decisions and of course continuing to exercise, which I've come to LOVE! I still struggle with making the time to exercise..thinking that I have so many duties to accomplish..no time for me. But it's as a result of that time "me" that I can accomplish my many tasks, with a better attitude, and of course, better health!

    Sorry for the sermon....

(I had a great workout at the gym this morning...I'm always super pumped after a great workout!)

I love you my friend! I have a dinner party here this evening...lots of cleaning and preparing to do. (Wish it were your family I was preparing for!)
