New Books!!!

It´s really amazing to receive an e mail saying you have been given a $25 gift certificate to Amazon! I was trying to figure out how that happened, when I remembered entering Valerie´s Mother´s Day give away. Thank- you Valerie! That was such a wonderful treat.

Here are the books I bought. Now I just have to wait for them to make their slow trek to Spain.

Anyone know about these books? Have you read them? I am needing all the help I can get with my boys these days. Mostly to stay calm and train; not stress and do it all myself.

I have talked about this in previous posts. I really have seen some progress, but thought that a few good books on raising boys might help even more.
I can´t wait to get them, but while I wait, do any of you have any thoughts on these topics?

And for my fun reading enjoyment...

The whole series will be mine! Maybe I will get to read them on my trip to Madrid in June! My two day "after school get away". No, not an after school special. A real live Get a Way! And guess who´s going to meet me there? Well, those friends know who they are! Can´t wait!

I am praying that these books help make my home sing even more. Head on over to Momstheword to see other posts on how to make your home sing for the Lord!

  1. Hi Danijoy! I haven't read those books, but you'll have to let us know how you like them! I have three boys too, so that sounds like something I'd be interested in. I have a book by James Dobson called Bringing Up Boys, but I have yet to read it! LOL

  3. No, I haven't read any of these books, but they look lovely.

"Plants Grown Up" is a really helpful book for training (gives scripture and age-appropriate activities) your child in character qualities.

Have you read Shepherding A Child's Heart by Ted Tripp?

  4. I haven´t seen any of those books before but since I have 3 girls.... well, that is probably the reason why :) Maybe they have the same title for girls? Still I am looking forward to hear your reviews about it because I am sure there are some things that can be apply to girls to.

I tried to call A finally yesterday but she didn´t pick up. Are there any changes in that whole situation?
