  2. Hi Dani Joy,
Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. Did you go to Crown? You look really familiar? I was there from 1997 to 2005.

  3. Dani, I have a friend (friends daughter) who just started serving as a journeyman in spain. We cannot know where as the area is heavily non Christian and becoming populated by non Catholics as well. She teaches ESL or conversational English and ministers by starting up friendships and Bible Studies. I think she works with other missionaries as well. I hope so. She loves the people and has felt this call in her life for quite some time.

  4. A journeyman is an entry level Southern Baptist Missionary. It is a two year assignment in a location. They cannot come home during the two years, but I think they can have visitors. It is like a trial basis. Not everyone is cut out for the sacrifice. Many will leave for a decade or more. Or come home to change out VISA's visit churches, share testimony (oftentimes change name & identities, depending on where they are serving) sometimes get reassigned and go back out. Furloughs in the states are not longer than a few months to a year.

But, before they make that lifelong commitment, they sign on as a Journeyman. This girl is single. I am wondering who God will introduce to her... It is amazing how God will put two people with the same hearts together. ;-)
