Wednesday "What´s up with the Crew"

What goes up,

must come down!

Or
in the Crew´s case,

takes forever to get up.

(Pics taken by Kathy on Monday)

We got so busy today. Trying to get caught up, getting school done, doing piano lessons and homework, that we didn´t get to post anything new on the
They were taking videos and pictures this week to post, so stay tuned in the next weeks for some great boyish, fun media/art.

If you haven´t gotten to see their creations or their critters, head on over there and encourage those little MK´s alittle. They read their comments. They might not comment back just yet, but you can be assured there are big smiles on their faces and maybe even a little jumping up and down.

Tonight in church, they asked for prayer for a little boy they play soccer with named Gabriel. He lives close to the church and knows about it. The boys said that he mentioned that he was interested in those things but didn´t know how to know Jesus. The boys invited him to church. It´s so exciting to hear the boys talk about how others ask them questions and how they respond. They seem to be getting more confidence to share their faith.

Their Spanish has really gotten better too, since playing soccer every other day down at the park. We were disappointed at how much fluency they had lost after our time in the States this past summer. We were praying for a way to help them improve. They study every day on the computer with a program we got from the new encyclopedias all in Spanish. They listen, and read. Then write a paragraph about what they have listened to or read. There is so much information in these encyclopedias and the program, that it will grow with them through the years. On top of these studies, they are able to go to the park now that the weather is better. It seems to have bloomed this confidence and their fluency.

Thank-you for praying for these young potential great men of God!

  1. Love the pictures, he ain't heavy, he's my brother...hehehe!

My son has a friend just moved here from Columbia. Somehow they've managed to connect and enjoy one another's company.

His friend is very quickly learning English and my son knows very little Spanish but they're having fun! My other son took Spanish in college.

  3. What interesting kids you have. They all look so fun of life, happy kids!

I went to check out the other blog, very nice! Loved all the photos!

What a blessing that your boys are learning Spanish, wow they will be able to use that in 70% of the world. Sadly my kids know Croatian but it's not like that's something they are going to be able to use in too many places. :0)

    Have a great weekend!!
